Daytime Support
Our daytime postpartum doulas provide, for a minimum of 5 hours, hands-on support with newborn care, household tasks, and feeding guidance, allowing you to rest and recover with confidence. Our presence offers practical help, and emotional support, for a smoother and less overwhelming experience.
Nightime Support
Our overnight postpartum doulas provide, for a minimum of 10 hours, essential hands-on care for your baby while you rest ensuring that you wake up feeling refreshed and supported. Our expertise in feeding, soothing, and newborn sleep allows you to navigate nights with greater ease and absolute confidence. This care is equally beneficial no matter whether your baby is being fed by bottle or exclusively from your body (we’d love to share why)!
Sleep Optimization
At Maine Doulas, we know sleep! For years as a seasoned doula, owner Natalie Grammer witnessed the ill effects of sleep deprivation on families and recognized it as a common and often overlooked issue. Seeing that new parents needed real, hands-on help that didn’t create conflict or confusion, she trained with Mommywise, a highly selective sleep coach organization.
Infant Feeding & Lactation Support
Feeding your baby may be natural, but that doesn’t mean it’s simple. Families seek our support for challenges such as latch issues, tongue tie, or breast and nipple pain. We also assist with engorgement, clogged ducts, mastitis, inverted or flat nipples, and milk supply concerns, helping you navigate feeding with confidence. Maine Doulas is here to honor your journey with warmth, wisdom, and unwavering support.
